Fisioterapia Bioconductual: Fundamentos Epistemológicos, Modelo de Razonamiento Clínico y Aplicaciones Tecnológicas
Resumen
Introducción: La Fisioterapia Bioconductual constituye un paradigma clínico y científico que integra conocimientos biomédicos, conductuales, sensoriales y socioculturales para el análisis del movimiento humano y la planificación terapéutica. Este enfoque ha emergido como una alternativa al reduccionismo biomédico tradicional, sustentado en los principios del materialismo emergente y el contextualismo funcional.
Objetivo: Describir los fundamentos epistemológicos, filosóficos, metodológicos y tecnológicos de la fisioterapia bioconductual, sistematizar su modelo de razonamiento clínico y presentar sus principales aplicaciones tecnológicas en la práctica asistencial.
Desarrollo: Se propone un modelo propio de razonamiento clínico, basado en la evaluación multicomponente y en la formulación funcional de hipótesis, que incorpora el análisis operativo del comportamiento motor como herramienta central para comprender y modificar patrones conductuales en contextos clínicos. Asimismo, se expone una tecnología clínica estructurada en seis grandes tipos de intervención: educación terapéutica del comportamiento motor, formulación de metas funcionales, exposición graduada al movimiento, reentrenamiento e interpretación sensorial, facilitación operante del ejercicio y métodos de representación del movimiento.
Conclusión: La fisioterapia bioconductual representa una evolución conceptual y práctica alineada con los desafíos contemporáneos de la disciplina. Ofrece un marco riguroso, adaptable y científicamente fundamentado para promover la recuperación funcional, reducir la discapacidad y fortalecer la identidad profesional del fisioterapeuta como especialista en la conducta motora en contexto.
